East Bank Bound!!!

The Tigers will cross the Mighty Mississippi to face off against the Wildcats of Destrehan. Friendships will be set aside on this one, this meet is for parish bragging rights. Come out and support this young Tigers team as they look to make their mark in this rivalry. Action starts at 6:00 pm in the Destrehan Gymnasium. Geaux Tigers!!

Day two of the Sam Sara Invitational belonged to the class of 2013. As seniors Ryan Baudouin, Cameron Cambre, and Jordan Hernandez placed in the top three in their respective weight classes. Both Ryan and Cameron placed third and Jordan placed second. The seniors’ second day effort lead the Tigers to a sixth place finish out of twenty-two teams. As the Tigers keep getting better each week, it should be fun to watch what this team can accomplish the rest of the season. Geaux Tigers!!

The Tigers advance five wrestlers to the second day of the Sam Sara Invitational. Tigers are currently in 8th place after the first day of competition. Leading the charge on the second day are senior Jordan Hernandez(113lbs.) and senior Ryan Baudouin (182lbs.), both are in the semi-finals this afternoon. Senior Cameron Cambre (145lbs.), sophomore Zack Corzo (195lbs.), and freshman Nick Lirette (106lbs.) are in the consolation rounds and looking to score bonus points for the Tigers. Action resumes at 2:00 PM in the main gym at Archbishop Rummel High School. Geaux Tigers!!!

Tigers Win Home Opener!!

The Tigers took on The Rebels of Pearl River High School in their first home dual of 2012-2013 season. Pearl River jumped to an early lead by winning the first three matches in the dual with a score of Hahnville-0 Pearl River-15. The Tigers upper weights quickly put a stop to Pearl River’s momentum and after seven matches the score was Hahnville-18 Pearl River-21. There was no stopping the Tigers as they went on to win the last seven matches to seal the dual with a final score Hahnville-53 Pearl River-27.

Tigers Get First Victory on the Road

After a tough Quad meet at Fontainebleau High School, The Tigers looked to bounce back as they travelled to New Orleans to face Holy Rosary High School. This was the first home dual for Bulldogs of Holy Rosary High School, but that did not stop the Tigers from getting “W” by winning twelve out of fourteen matches. Final score Hahnville-72 Holy Rosary-12.
